Ferritic Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe and Tube is long steel with a hollow section and no joints on the periphery. Today we talk about its morphological composition.

The part of the ferritic stainless steel seamless pipe and tube is called pro eutectoid ferrite or free ferrite in the structure. Depending on the formation conditions, eutectoid ferrite has different morphologies, such as equiaxed, along-crystal, spindle, zigzag, and acicular. Ferrite is also the matrix of pearlite structure. In the hot-rolled (normalized) and annealed microstructures of carbon steel and low-alloy steel, ferrite is the main component phase; the composition and microstructure of ferrite have an important influence on the process performance of steel. The performance also has an impact.

Carbon dissolves into δ-Fe to form an interstitial solid solution, which has a body-centered cubic lattice structure. Because of the higher temperature, it is called high-temperature ferrite or δ solid solution. It is represented by δ and exists above 1394°C.

The maximum amount of dissolved carbon is at 1495°C. The mass fraction of carbon is 0.09%.

The morphological composition of the Austenitic Stainless Steel Seamless Tube is different from ferritic stainless steel seamless pipe and tube.
